KTGR is highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week!
This week features Hickman senior STUNT athlete Isabella Peterson. As part of the inaugural STUNT team at Hickman this spring, Peterson also competes with the cheer team and just qualified for the state competition with the school choir. Peterson will compete with this spring’s STUNT team after coming back from surgery to repair a cleft palate and lip.
“[Isabella] is known as one of the most supportive teammates on both the STUNT team and the Varsity Cheer Team,” said Hickman STUNT coach Molly Lyman. “Isabella aspires to become a nurse after graduation to help children with cleft and craniofacial issues, a goal inspired by her own personal experiences.”
Hickman’s first-ever STUNT competitions will take place at Troy Buchanan on Wednesday and at Farmington on Saturday.
