Men's Track and Field Season Recap
Season Milestones The Cougars earned their eighth American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's Indoor Track and Field Championship along with their eighth overall AMC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Brenin Howell broke the indoor program record in shot put with a mark of 17.08m at the 2025 Mel Tjeerdsma Classic and the outdoor program record for discus at the 2026 UCM Mule Relays with a 52.30m throw. Marcos Lara set the indoor program record for the mile with a time of 4:16.58 at the 2026 Pittsburg State Invite. Kalieb Haileselassie broke the indoor program record at the 2026 Gorilla Classic in the 3000m with a time of 8:27.50. Easton Haslag set the outdoor program record in javelin with a throw of 63.27m at the 2026 AMC Outdoor Championships. Brenin Howell was named an NAIA All-American at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships, earning an eighth place finish in discus with a 50.29m mark. Marcos Lara was also named an NAIA All-American at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships, taking fifth in the 1500m with a time of 4:00.15.

Season Milestones The Cougars secured their fourth American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship along with their fourth overall AMC Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Montgomery Keck was named an NAIA All-American at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships, the first outdoor All-American for the program since 2018. Keck earned a third place finish in triple jump with a 12.11m mark. Montgomery Keck broke the program record in 100m hurdles with a time of 14.44 at the 2026 AMC Outdoor Championships.

Five Softball Players Named to CSC Academic All-District® Team
COLUMBIA, Mo. - The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

COLUMBIA, Mo. - After clinching their fifth-consecutive American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Golf Championship, the Cougars advanced to the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The Cougars competed in the opening rounds but did not advance past the cut.

Keck, Howell, and Lara Named All-Americans at NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Nationals
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Members of the Columbia College men's and women's track and field team competed this week at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships. Three Cougars earned All-America honors: Montgomery Keck, Brenin Howell, and Marcos Lara — all earning the distinction for the first time in their careers.

Women's Golf Competes at NAIA Championships
YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Columbia College women's golf team competed at the NAIA Women's National Championship at Eagle Crest Golf Course, shooting a 685 through two rounds. Camryn Swinfard led the Cougars recording a 156 (76-80).

COLUMBIA, Mo. - After clinching their third American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's Golf Championship in program history, the Cougars advanced to the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship last week. Columbia advanced two individuals in Teagen Hull and Blake Hartner through to the final rounds of the Championship. Hull finished T-43rd, while Hartner placed T-66th.

Columbia Earns Spot at NAIA Women's Golf National Championship
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Columbia College women's golf team is making its fifth trip to the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship, set for May 19-22 at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Mich. The Cougars are one of 30 teams competing in the 31st annual event.
