KTGR is highlighting an outstanding area high school athlete each week!
This week features Rock Bridge senior Andrew Hill. Last week in the Columbia Baseball Tournament, Hill recorded a pitching win in the first round against rival Jefferson City. Off the mound he batted 8/19 with 4 of those hits being for extra bases totaling 6 RBIs for the 3-hole hitter as the Bruins went on to place 3rd.
“Andrew is extremely goal oriented and hard working whether that be in the weightroom or on the baseball field. These characteristics are a direct result of his parents and the values they have instilled in him from a very young age,” Bruins baseball head coach Justin Towe said about the 4 year starter. “With all the experience that Andrew has had, players and coaches alike look to Andrew when things aren’t going as well as they should on and off the field.”
The Bruins take on a double header against Francis Howell and Nixa Saturday 4/20 with first pitches at 10:00AM and 1:30PM.
