KTGR and MU Health Care Sports Medicine are highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week!
This week features Rock Bridge sophomore swimmer Madison Shryock, who won the state title in the 100-yard breaststroke and placed fourth in the 200 IM at the Class 2 state meet last weekend. Madison also was part of two relay teams that finished in third place in their respective races.
“Madison is motivated, hardworking, and dependable,” said Rock Bridge swimming coach Taylor Birsa. “She consistently steps up in crucial moments, particularly in relay events. Wherever she’s needed, she embraces the role and competes with determination. Her teammates notice her fierce competitiveness, which pushes them to raise their own level of performance.”
Rock Bridge girls swimming finished fourth in the team standings at the Class 2 state meet.
