KTGR is highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week!
This week features Hickman junior track athlete John Moss. Last weekend, John won the individual district title in the 200- and 400-meter races, and helped the Kewpies finish third in the 4×400-meter relay at the district meet.
“John is the core of our sprint group on our team at Hickman High School,” said Hickman track and field coach Stewart Johnson. “He strives to achieve at the highest level, continuously pushing himself to meet his goals. As a result, John pushes our team in practice and competitions to come up to this level of performance and intensity. With this approach, John is looking to perform at a high level in the postseason and help continue the success of our team as we advance in the postseason.”
John will compete in the sectional meet at Orchard Farm High School in St. Charles this weekend.
