KTGR is highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week!
This week features Father Tolton senior wrestler Grant Anderson. Last Saturday at the Crossroads duals in Cameron, MO, Anderson went 6-0 in his matches with five pins and one major decision against the defending Class 2 champion at 138 pounds. Anderson missed the first half of the season due to injury, and this weekend marked his first matches of the year.
“Grant has been a tremendous asset to our wrestling program, both as a competitor and a leader,” said Father Tolton wrestling coach Ross Rosenbaum. “Grant sets a high standard for excellence while fostering a team-first attitude by helping his teammates improve and demonstrating the mindset needed for success.”
Father Tolton wrestling’s next competition will be in the Hickman Boys Tournament next week.
