KTGR and MU Health Care Sports Medicine are highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week!
This week features Rock Bridge sophomore golfer Drew Maze, who shot a 78 at Lake Valley Golf Course in Camdenton to finish first overall at the Lady Laker Golf Invitational, and help the Bruins to a first place finish as a team.
“Drew is an incredibly patient and even-keeled player whose leadership is invaluable to our team,” said Rock Bridge girls golf coach Travis Gabel. “She has a unique ability to make every player around her feel confident and valued, while at the same time inspiring them to work hard and continually improve. Drew’s tremendous work ethic and attention to detail have helped her develop into one of the top high school girls golfers in the state of Missouri. She leads by example both on and off the course, and her commitment to excellence makes everyone around her better. We are incredibly proud of Drew and all that she brings to our team.”
Rock Bridge girls golf will next compete against Helias on Thursday.
