KTGR Athlete Spotlight: Clay Busch

KTGR and MU Health Care Sports Medicine are highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week!

This week features Father Tolton freshman forward Clay Busch, who had 16 points and 10 rebounds including the game-tying 3-pointer at the end of regulation, leading to a double-overtime victory over Capital City last Thursday. In his last four games, Clay is averaged 17.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.25 blocks.

“Clay has made a major impact immediately, not only with his own play, but also with his ability to make others around him better,” said Tolton boys basketball coach Jeremy Osborne. “He is an extremely coachable young man that has earned the respect of his teammates in a short time. Clay has a very high IQ, that enables him to play beyond his years.”

Father Tolton boys hoops is 3-13 overall, and will next play Hazelwood East in the Circle 7 Ranch Showdown on Wednesday.
