KTGR is highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week!

This week features Rock Bridge senior golfer Brendan Hervey. Last week, Brendan hit a hole in one on a par 3 to finish at a two-over-par 38, helping spark his team to a victory over Capital City. It’s the first hole in one during competition in program history.

“Brendan is a tremendous three-sport athlete (football, hockey, golf) and has been a steady, charismatic leader for our team the past two seasons,” said Rock Bridge golf coach Stuart Smith. “This year he has locked himself in as our number two and has had several strong performances to help pace Bruin golf this spring. He is great at moving forward when things don’t go his way, and sets a great example for our entire team in the way he is always ready to move on and hit the next shot. Also, his hole in one last week was a thing of beauty!”

Rock Bridge golf will next be in action Wednesday in the Laker Invitational in Camdenton.
