KTGR and MU Health Care Sports Medicine are highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week!
This week features Hickman junior wrestler Brady McMurtry, who placed in second at 138 pounds at the Bobcat Classic in Kansas this past weekend, defeating the second-ranked wrestlers in both Missouri and Kansas at the event. Brady also finished in fourth at the prestigious Cheesehead Invitational in Wisconsin the week prior.
“Brady not only excels on the mat but is a brilliant scholar looking to continue his education and wrestling career at Duke University in a couple years,” said Hickman wrestling coach Dan Pieper. “Brady is currently ranked #4 in Missouri, looking to move up in the rankings this week as a Junior for Hickman High School.”
Hickman boys wrestling will next be in action against Smith-Cotton on Wednesday.
