KTGR is highlighting an outstanding area high school athlete each week!
This week features Columbia Independent School senior Blake Morris, who helped the Lions to their first two wins of the season last week. He totaled 54 points, 21 rebounds and 19 steals over the two games against Lighthouse Prep and La Monte. This season, Morris is averaging 19.6 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.8 steals per game.
“Blake is a 4 year starter for the Columbia Independent basketball team and is already the all-time scoring leader for the school,” said Lions head coach Jeff Martin. “He was a 1st team all district selection as a junior. He currently holds the single game records as well in points, rebounds, and steals. Blake also maintains a 3.5 GPA.”
CIS boys basketball’s next game will be Friday night at Veritas Christian Academy.
