KTGR is highlighting an outstanding area high school athlete every week!
This week features Father Tolton softball’s Bella Trim! Father Tolton took home the Class 4 State Championship thanks to an instrumental role from Trim. Throughout their playoff run she pitched 34 innings only allowing 8 hits. The batting average against her was .069 and she allowed 0 earned runs and 64 strikeouts. Along with a State Championship these astounding stats earned Trim All State First Team honors in Class 4.
“Bella has had an outstanding season as a pitcher for our softball team. Her efforts were a leading reason Tolton won its Second Softball State Championship in school history,” Father Tolton Athletic Director Pat Kelly said.
