KTGR is highlighting an outstanding area high school athlete each week!
This week features Alyssa Ritter, a sophomore cross country runner for Rock Bridge. Last week at the CMAC Conference Meet, Ritter took home the individual title with a personal record 5k time of 19:09. This also helped the Bruins achieve their 5th consecutive CMAC title as their runners placed 1, 2, and 3 in the race. “Alyssa has been an invaluable member of the Rock Bridge girls cross country team this year. She competes with confidence and is consistent and steady in her practice and race execution,” Rock Bridge coach Neal Blackburn said.
Rock Bridge cross country is headed to the Big River Invitational in Valley Park this Saturday hoping to carry in their momentum from a dominant CMAC Conference Meet.
