Join us from 3:30-:5:30 PM on Wednesday, September 22, for MEET AT THE MARV, a collaborative event by Cougar Athletics, Student Affairs, & Admissions centered around the Cougars’ soccer doubleheader against John Brown University. 

Current students, faculty, staff, families, high school students are all invited to this FREE event. We’ll enjoy live music, food trucks, campus tours, and most importantly, great soccer! 

QUICK HITS

  • The Cougars enter the game after picking up their first win against a ranked opponent this season, defeating (16) Grace 1-0 on the road. 
  • Macie Lucas scored her team-leading third goal of the season to lead the Cougars over Grace. Lucas has three goals on eight shots this season.
  • Of here three goals, Lucas has two game winning goals which is tied for the conference lead.  
  • CC goalkeeper, Kate Marshall, leads the AMc with a .286 goals against average. Marshall has surrendered just one goal in 314:48 minutes. 
  • The Cougars have allowed just two goals all season, which is tied for the least amount in the AMC with Harris-Stowe. 
  • John Brown is 1-1-0 in their last two games with their lone loss coming to then-No. 16 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.). 
  • The Golden Eagles have scored 10 goals this season, led by a trio of players who have found the back of the net twice – Maggie Bailey, Aniyah Gibbs and Megan Hutto.
