Five combined shot attempts were taken by the Cougars and Eagles to start the second half, but none of them were successful. Just before the seventieth minute, Maria recorded her second and final goal of the contest, 2-0.

Two more opportunities were presented to Columbia, but the Cougars were unable to convert.
