Women’s Indoor Track & Field Travels to Pittsburg, Kansas on Saturday

Pittsburg, Kan. – The Columbia College women’s indoor track & field hits the road on Saturday, as they compete in the NAIA/JUCO Invite, hosted at Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Kan.
 
Field events for the women begin at 12:30 PM with the pole vault, while the running events start at 2:40 PM with the 4X800-meter relay.
 
The Cougars have 30 total entries, including five in the 200-meter dash.
 
Kayla Shiverdecker enters with the third-best mark in the high jump, while Kyla Bertschinger and Emma Homfeldt are tied for the second-fastest time in the one-mile run. Freshman Peri Welch is ranked second in the 3000-meter run.
