Women’s Indoor Track & Field Preview – 2022 AMC Indoor Championships

Elsah, Ill. – The Columbia College women’s indoor track & field teams seeks its second American Midwest Conference (AMC) team title and first since 2018 on Saturday, Feb. 19. The Championships take place at Principia College in Elsah, Ill.  
 
Field events begin at 10:00 AM, with the running events beginning at 12:00 PM. Running events are timed finals, unless otherwise noted on the schedule. The Championships are on a rolling schedule, so the times are approximate.
 
The Cougars are one of three current teams with a team championship. William Woods leads the way with five, while Missouri Baptist had two. With a win, the Cougars will tie Missouri Baptist and former-AMC member McKendree (Ill.) for the second-most in AMC history.
 
In addition, Columbia has 26 individual and relay championships, the fourth most of participating teams.
