Women’s Bowling Begins 2022 Schedule in Illinois

Addison, Ill. – The Columbia College women’s bowling team begins the 2022 portion of the schedule this weekend at the Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic in Addison, Ill., a suburb of Chicago. This is the first time Columbia has attended the event.

CC will be sending Brianna Acord, Jordyn Czerw, Katyn Fischer, Mollie Lynn Goodwin, Grace Kowalski, Katie Leonard, Lindsay Tribble, and Breanne West to compete.

The Cougars will be competing against 60 teams.

The Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic is a Tier 1 tournament certified by the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Collegiate Division. As such, it will comply with all USBC rules and regulations, and all participants must be eligible under USBC Collegiate Bowling rules. The tournament features competition in men’s and women’s varsity divisions.

Action for the Cougars begins on Saturday, Jan. 15, at 7:30 AM, as the team will bowl five team games, with the tournament wrapping up with 20 baker games on Sunday, beginning at 7:30 AM.

The tournament champion will be determined based on total team pinfall for five regular games and 20 baker games. The top five individual scorers in the men’s and women’s divisions, based on total individual pinfall for five games, will be named to the All-Tournament team.
