Opening Tip:

  • The Cougars and Stars meet for the for the second this season.
    • Columbia defeated Stephens, 58-43
    • Three Cougars scored in double figures – Abby Backes (15), Mallory Shetley (12), and Kamryn Mennemeyer (10). 
    • Clare Shetley and Mallory Shetley led the Cougars with nine and eight rebounds respectively. 
    • Marveen Ross led the Stars with 11 points, while Allison Moore added 10 in the loss. 
    • The Cougar defense held the Stars to 27.9-percent shooting from the field and forced 20 turnovers. 
  • Both teams enter the game losing their last contest.
    • Columbia fell to Missouri Baptist on the road, 61-50
    • Stephens has lost three-straight – William Woods (53-35), Health Sciences & Pharmacy (56-47), and Harris-Stowe (70-60). 
  • The Cougars are currently in second-place in the American Midwest Conference (AMC) standings. 
  • Stephens is eighth in the conference standings.
  • Tuesday marks the 30th all-time meeting between the two programs
    • Columba has won the previous 29 games. 

Tickets:

  • Ticketing in the Arena of Southwell Complex will be limited to one-third capacity in order to allow for more social distancing between stable groups.
  • Season ticket holders WILL NOT be affected, as their tickets are included in the new capacity limit.
  • Remaining single-game tickets will go on sale 48 hours prior to the start of a contest.
    • Students, Faculty, and Staff may claim tickets as normal (Sunday before the game) using their designated passcodes.

  • Fans are strongly encouraged to wear masks while attending.
