COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Women’s Basketball travels for the first time this season to face in-state foe Saint Louis at 3 p.m. Sunday in Chaifetz Arena. The contest will air on ESPN+.

The Tigers are off to a 2-0 start following a 98-57 win over Indiana State on Thursday.

The final point total is the most Missouri has scored in a game since a 100-65 victory over Ole Miss on Feb. 23, 2017.

Ashton Judd led the scoring barrage with a career-high 31 points behind a 7-of-9 performance from beyond the arc.

Freshman Abbey Schreacke added 17 points in 24 minutes off the bench in her second collegiate contest. Schreacke and fellow freshman Grace Slaughter have combined for 51 points through the first two games of their collegiate careers.

With three points on Thursday, graduate Hayley Frank stands four points behind Evan Unrau (2000-04) for eighth all-time in program history.

Sunday’s contest will mark the 26th meeting between the two programs. The Tigers hold a commanding 24-1 lead in the series including a 12-1 record away from Mizzou Arena.

The Billikens enter the matchup with a 0-1 record after dropping their season opener to Drake on Thursday.

Saint Louis, led by second-year head coach Rebecca Tillett, finished last season with a first-round exit in the NCAA tournament at the hands of Tennessee.

With a 17-18 overall record, the Billikens claimed the A-10 Conference Tournament title to earn the postseason selection.

Saint Louis is led by graduate guard Kyla McMakin who scored 20 points in the season’s only contest. McMakin was named to the All-Atlantic 10 Second Team following the 2022-23 season.
