COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Women’s Basketball will welcome Ole Miss to Mizzou Arena at 6 p.m. CT on Monday. The contest will air on SEC Network.

The Tigers are coming off a loss at Florida on Thursday.

Freshman guard Abbey Schreacke led the way for Missouri with 16 points and three assists against the Gators.

The performance marked the first time that Schreacke has led the Tigers outright in the scoring column this season.

Senior guard Mama Dembele scored 15 points and recorded five steals in the game.

Dembele averages 3.2 steals per game, which ranks second in the SEC (9th nationally), and leads the conference (5th nationally) with 6.6 assists per game.

Freshman guard Grace Slaughter also got into the double digits with 14 points. Slaughter has scored 10 or more points in 11 of the last 12 contests and ranks third among first-year conference players at 11.6 points per game.

With 1,976 points, graduate forward Haley Frank is 24 away from becoming the fourth Missouri player to score 2,000 in their Tiger tenure.

Mizzou generates much of its offense from beyond the arc, ranking second in the SEC in 3-point field goal percentage (27th nationally), shooting 36.2% and making 8.7 per game.

Individually, the Tigers have three players, Schreacke (41.6%), Slaughter (39.3), and Frank (38.1), who ranked in the top 10 in the conference with a 3-point percentage.

Ole Miss enters Monday at 19-7, including a 9-4 in-conference record, following wins against Georgia and Mississippi State last week.

The Rebels are led by sixth-year head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin, who holds a 98-82 record at the helm.

McPhee-McCuin led Ole Miss to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament a season ago before falling to Louisville.

Offensively, the Rebels are led by senior guard Marquesha Davis and senior point guard Madison Scott who average 14.2 and 11.9 points per game respectively.

Mizzou has been dominant in the series in the past, holding a 13-3 record all-time against Ole Miss including a 5-1 mark against the Rebels at home.
