Women’s Basketball Signs Abby Feit

COLUMBIA, Mo – University of Missouri Women’s basketball has signed 6-foot-1 grad-transfer guard Abby Feit, head coach Robin Pingeton announced on Tuesday. Feit comes to the Tigers after four seasons at Evansville.

An All-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team selection a season ago, Feit led the Aces in scoring at 15.5 points per game and rebounding at 7.6 per contest. An efficient shooter, the graduate converted 44.6 percent of her attempts from the floor.

Feit, A decorated veteran in the conference, was named MVC Freshman of the Year following the 2019-20 season, MVC Honorable Mention in 2020-21 and garnered MVC First Team recognition in 2021-22.

In her debut season at Evansville, Feit started all 29 games and averaged a team-best 13.7 points and 8.4 rebounds. In her collegiate debut, the guard scored 26 points and grabbed 18 boards, the performance marked the most points totaled in a first game in both school and conference history.

Before entering the collegiate ranks, Feit was a standout at Normal Community High School in Normal, Ill., She guided her team to a 23-11 overall record and section semifinals appearance as a senior while averaging 14.1 points and 7.5 rebounds.

In the classroom, Feit recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. She was named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Second Team in 2021-22 and a Scholar-Athlete Honorable Mention in 2020-21.

Feit joins Angelique Ngalakulondi in Missouri’s transfer additions this offseason.
