Women’s Basketball Hosts Lyon in AMC Opener

Quick Notes:

• Columbia enters the game with a 7-3 record, defeating Iowa Wesleyan in their last game, 67-60. 
• Lyon is 5-3 on the season and have won four-straight. 
• The Cougars have three players averaging double figures – Mallory Shetley (15.8), Allison Stiers (10.8), and Peyton Crowe (10.2). 
• The Scots are scoring 57.0 points per game, while shooting 36.4-percent from the field. 
• Clare Shetley is third in the AMC in rebounds per game (9.0). 
• Jade Giron (12.8) and Paige Kelley (11.4) are averaging double figures for Lyon.
• Allison Stiers leads the AMC in 3-point field goal percentage (52.9-percent). 
• As a team the Cougars are fifth in the conference in scoring (69.2), while Lyon is ninth at 57.0. 
• Defensively, the Scots are holding opponents to 53.3 points per game, the best in the AMC. 
• Columbia has held opponents to 40-208 from the 3-point line (19.2-percent). 
• Rebounding has been a strength for CC, as they lead the AMC in rebounds per game (44.5) and defensive rebounds per game (33.3).

• You can then claim up to 5 free faculty/staff tickets.
