Women’s Basketball Adds Londyn Oliphant to 2024 Class

Londyn Oliphant

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Women’s Basketball has added Londyn Oliphant as the second member of its 2024 signing class, head coach Robin Pingeton announced on Thursday.

Oliphant, ranked No. 40 in the state of Texas is a first-team all-district performer out of Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, Texas.

“Londyn is going to be a great addition for us!” Pingeton said. “She is a scoring PG that has a really high basketball IQ and great leadership skills. She has the ability to get out and push the ball in transition as well as create scoring opportunities for others.

On the AAU circuit, Oliphant competes for FAM Elite where the two-way guard averaged 8.9 points and 3.1 steals per game in 2022.

In the classroom, the signee is a three-time First-Team Academic All-District honoree and is a three-year academic letterman.

“Everyone in Columbia is about Mizzou, so visiting campus made me feel very included in the school’s atmosphere/spirit and what they are about,” Oliphant said. “To be involved with not only basketball but to engage with the community is why I’m excited to be a Tiger.”

Away from the court, Olyphant is a member of the black student association and Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Prestonwood.

Londyn joins Ma’Riya Vincent as the first members of the Tigers 2024 class.

The two signees are AAU teammates on FAM Elite in Texas.
