Wall, Piper and Bealmer Named NAIA All-Americans

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the 2021 NAIA Baseball All-America team members.

Kenny Piper (GS, Florissant, Mo.) was named to the First-Team after hitting .418 on the season with 17 home runs, 49 RBIs and 151 total bases. He ranked in the top 11 in the NAIA in four categories: No. 5 in slugging percentage (.915), No. 7 in chances per game (8.5), No. 9 in total bases per game (3.1) and No. 11 in total triples (6). Defensively, Piper was named to the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Gold Glove team. Piper is now a two-time NAIA All-American (Honorable Mention in 2019).

Chris Wall (Jr., Wentzville, Mo.) is an NAIA All-American for the first time after earning a Second-Team spot. Wall finished the season with an 11-1 record on the mound with a 1.92 ERA and 138 strikeouts in 79.2 innings pitched. Wall ranked in the top-10 nationally in five categories: No. 7 in innings pitched per game (6.6), opponent batting average (.174) and hits allowed per nine innings (5.4), No. 8 in wins (11) and No. 10 in earned run average (1.9). On March 26, 2021, Wall tossed a no-hitter against Harris-Stowe.

Dalton Bealmer (Sr., Boonville, Mo.) was selected to the Second-Team. He hit .410 on the season and set career highs in RBIs (63), home runs (17), doubles (16), hits (73), runs scored (58) and total bases (144). He ranked in the top 25 nationally in total bases per game (No. 14, 3.0), slugging percentage (No. 20, .809), home runs per game (No. 25, 0.3), runs batted in per game (No. 25, 1.3).
