Volleyball Sweeps AMC Opener

Hannibal, Mo. – The No. 20-ranked Columbia College volleyball team extended their season-best win streak to eight with a 3-0 win against Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.) in the American Midwest Conference (AMC) opener on Tuesday.
 
Columbia improves to 15-4 overall and 1-0 in the AMC, while the Trojans fall to 4-7 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

The Cougars held Hannibal-LaGrange to a .115 attacking percentage, allowing just six kills on 26 attacks.

Columbia hit a match-best .417 with 12 kills on 24 attacks and just two errors. On defense, the Cougars held the Trojans to a negative attacking percentage (-.042) and forced more errors (6) than kills allowed (5).
 
Set 3: Columbia 25 | Hannibal-LaGrange 17
The Cougars held Hannibal-LaGrange to a negative attacking percentage in the final set at .086. Columbia forced nine errors and allowed six kills in the set.
