Two Tigers Advance to Finals on Day Two of Zones

MADISON, Wis. – Junior Carlo Lopez and sophomore Takuto Endo highlighted the University of Missouri diving teams’ performances on the second day of the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships.

Lopez and Endo both advanced to the finals on 1-meter, finishing in 12th and 14th, respectively.

Sophomore Kayla Wilson and senior Sarah Rousseau finished in 23rd and 41st, respectively, on 3-meter.

Men’s 1-Meter

Carlo Lopez (632.90 total; 303.9 finals; 329 prelims)

Takuto Endo (612.2 total; 317.75 finals; 294.45 prelims)

Women’s 3-Meter

23. Kayla Wilson (279.35 prelims)

41. Sarah Rousseau (234.25 prelims)

UP NEXT

The final day of the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships is set for March 9. All three of Mizzou’s men’s divers (Endo, Lopez and sophomore Jude Dierker) will compete on platform. On the women’s side, Rousseau and freshman Catie Rodocker will also compete on platform.
