Twelve Tigers Earn WCGA Scholastic All-Americans Honors

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Twelve members of the University of Missouri Gymnastics squad earned Scholastic All-America recognition, the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced on Wednesday. 

Alisa Sheremeta was recognized for the fourth time in her career while Adalayna Hufendiek and Sienna Schreiber earned the honor for the third time. Kyra Burns and Hollyn Patrick picked up their second Scholastic All-America honors. Rounding out the 11 Tigers to garner accolades were five freshman, Grace Anne Davis, Victoria Gatzendorfer, Alonna Kratzer, Jocelyn Moore and Alyssa Ojeda.

Mizzou has now landed nine plus Tigers on the Scholastic All-America list for four consecutive seasons. In order to earn WCGA Scholastic All-America honors, student-athletes must hold an overall GPA of 3.5 or earn a 3.5 for the academic year. The 11 Tigers were part of a record-setting 1,077 gymnasts who earned all-academic honors across the country this season. Collectively, Mizzou posted a 3.4453 GPA in the classroom in 2021-22.
