Skylar Coffey 2024 Yellow Jacket Invitational

MANHATTAN, Kan. — The University of Missouri Track and Field squad completed Friday’s action at Kansas State’s Ward Haylett Invitational. Throughout the day, the Tigers claimed seven victories, 20 total podium positions and eight new personal bests.

Skylar Coffey highlighted the day for Mizzou, clinching the shot put by tallying a mark of 18.31m, slotting him into 10th position on MU’s all-time leaderboard in the event.

In the men’s distance events, Angus Beer took care of business, crossing the line first in the 800m (1:52.39) and the 1500m (3:52.30).

Led by Brianna Lee‘s effort of 2:09.93, the Tigers swept the podium in the women’s 800m run. Anneken Viljoen and Reilly Revord would follow suit to complete the medal placements, finishing in 2:10.02 and 2:10.35, respectively.

Missouri’s first win of the day came at the hands of Callan Saldutto, who launched a javelin throw of 66.79m.
