Track and Field Announces 2024 Indoor and Outdoor Schedule

COLUMBIA, Mo. — The University of Missouri track and field team announced its 2024 indoor and outdoor schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The schedule, which runs from January to June, is composed of 15 total meets with six indoor competitions and nine outdoor meets.

The indoor campaign opens in Nashville, Tennessee, on Jan. 19 and 20, where the Tigers compete in the Vanderbilt Invitational.

For its next competition, Mizzou travel west to compete in the Deloss Dodds Invitational at Kansas State in Manhattan, Kansas, on Feb. 2 and 3.

Missouri rounds out the indoor regular season with a pair of meets during the weekend of Feb. 10 and 11, with the team splitting between the Music City Challenge, hosted by Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee, and the Tyson Invitational held at Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The 2024 SEC Indoor Championships will take place in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on the weekend of Feb. 23 and 24, and the indoor schedule closes with the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships in Boston two weekends later on March 8 and 9.

Outdoor competition begins the following week with a trip to Atlanta, Georgia, for the Yellow Jacket Invitational put on by Georgia Tech on March 15 and 16. After a weekend break, the Tigers head to two meets on March 29 and 30, as the team partakes in both the Florida Relays, hosted by Florida, in Gainesville, Florida, and the Stanford Invitational, organized by Stanford, in Palo Alto, California.

Two weekends later, Mizzou sends select competitors to two meets in southern California on the weekend of April 12 and 13. The Tigers are set to compete in the Beach Invitational, hosted by Long Beach State, in Long Beach, California, and the Bryan Clay Invitational, presented by Azusa Pacific University, in Azusa, California.

To wrap up the 2024 regular season, head coach Brett Halter leads his team to Manhattan, Kansas, to compete in the Ward Haylett Invitational on April 26 and 27.

The Tigers open their outdoor postseason slate at the 2024 SEC Outdoor Championships in Gainesville, Flordia, on May 9-11. The NCAA West Preliminary Round takes place from May 22-25 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where top qualifiers will compete at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon, from June 5-8.
