Tigers Take On Bank of Tennessee Invite

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri men’s golf team travels to Jonesborough, Tenn., for the Bank of Tennessee Invitational, Oct. 9-11, at the Blackthorn Club at the Ridges.

INSIDE THE LINEUP

Jack Lundin:

Lundin captured the second and final win for Mizzou against LSU in the SEC Match Play, besting LSU’s Garrett Barber in a 2&1 decision. He shot a 4-over-par 74 in the first and third rounds, and a 6-over-par 76 in the second round to secure a final event score of 224 and place of 70th.

Charlie Crockett:

Crockett was the only Tiger at the SEC Match Play to place within the top-25. He tied for 21st after firing a 4-under-par 66. Crockett finished with a final-round 69 and totaled an 4-under-par score of 206 for the tournament. He also secured one of Mizzou’s two wins against LSU, defeating LSU’s Nicholas Acrement in a 5&4 decision.

Alfons Bondesson:

At SEC Match Play, Bondesson landed a final place of 60th with a final event score of 216 (+6). The highlight of Bondesson’s play was a 3-under-par second round of 67. He preceded that with a 3-over-par first round and followed with a 6-over-par third round.

Antonio Safa:

In his second start as a Tiger at SEC Match Play, Safa finished tied for 44th with teammate Tommy Boone. Safa shot an even-par 70 in the second and third rounds, preceded by a 2-over-par first round of 72. He landed a final score of 2-over-par 212. 

DJ Springer:

Springer shot rounds of (74-71-73) for a 2-over 218 total in his first tournament for the Tigers. He carded seven birdies for the weekend and finished t-12.
