Tigers Open Outdoor Season at Raleigh, Texas Relays and Ole Miss Classic

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri track and field opens the 2022 outdoor campaign at three meets this weekend: Raleigh Relays (Thursday, March 24), Ole Miss Classic (Friday-Saturday, March 25-26), Texas Relays (Friday-Saturday, March 25-26). A group of distance runners will travel to Raleigh, N.C., a group of jumpers to Austin, Texas and a majority of the squads to Oxford, Miss.

Competition will start Thursday with the Raleigh Relays. Seven men’s distance runners will compete in the 1,500m and 5,000m at Raleigh Relays, starting at 4:30 p.m. CT / 5:30 p.m. ET. The meet will be streamed on ACCNX with live results available via FlashResults.

On Friday, the men’s and women’s long and triple jumpers will compete at Texas Relays, starting at 10 a.m. The men’s and women’s hammer throwers will compete at the Ole Miss Classic at 1 p.m.

A full slate of action is set for Saturday in Oxford. The field events begin at 9 a.m. with the track events following at 1:30 p.m. At Texas Relays, Roberto Vilches will compete in the men’s high jump at 2:45 p.m.

Longhorn Network will broadcast live from Austin on Friday, March 25 (9:30a-1p) and Saturday, March 26 (12-4p). PrimeTime Timing will manage live results for Texas Relays. Delta Timing Group will handle live results at the Ole Miss Classic.
