COLUMBIA, Mo. – Three members of the University of Missouri women’s swimming teams claimed individual bids to the NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships, the NCAA announced on March 1.
Seniors Meredith Rees, Katrina Brathwaite and freshman Malin Grosse will represent the Tigers from March 15-18 in Knoxville.
Mizzou is also eligible to swim in four relays: 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay.
The Tiger divers are set to compete for NCAA bids at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships in Minneapolis, Minn., from March 7-9.
Rees earned a berth in the 100 back. Rees enters the 100 back with a seeded time of 59.51, awarding her the 12th spot in the race.
Brathwaite earned her second NCAA bid in the 200 breast. She is seeded in the 37th spot, with a time of 2:09.62.
The freshman earned her first NCAA berth in the 200 breast. She is seeded in 30th with a time of 2:09.32.
