Three Top-Five Finishes Highlight Day Three of SECs

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 14/19 University of Missouri men’s and women’ swimming and diving teams are in seventh and ninth places, respectively, after three days of competition at the SEC Championships. The men have 344 points, while the women have 271.5 points.

Senior Sarah Thompson took fourth in the 100 fly with a time of 51.49. Senior Danny Kovac also finished fourth in the 100 fly with a time of 45.48. Senior Jack Dahlgren took fifth in the 200 free with a time of 1:32.34.

Junior Meredith Rees produced a 12th place finish in the 100 fly, and senior Jack Dubois took 15th in the 400 IM.

Junior Luke Davis, senior Kyle Leach and junior Noah Scheuermann finished in 20th, 22nd and 23rd, respectively, in the 100 fly. Senior Molly Gowans also scored for the Tigers with a 20th place finish in the 200 free.

Senior Sarah Rousseau and sophomore Kayla Wilson both scored points for the Tigers in the 3-meter competition, finishing in 11th and 19th, respectively.
