Sunday’s matches are the first of 20 scheduled at the Mizzou Tennis Complex this season. The Tigers come off a 2021-22 season where the program had its second-best finish since joining the SEC and a top-10 regional ranking.

“The excitement is real behind this program,” Head Coach Chris Wootton said. “Sunday presents the first test of many this year. We are riding a wave of momentum making history in recruiting and results. Five new players will debut their extraordinary talents over the weekend.”

Mizzou returns Gabriela Martinez, who led the team with 11 singles wins a year ago and clinched a pair of victories against ranked SEC foes, and added five talented newcomers – transfers Inah Canete, Mae Canete and Laura Masic and signess Andrea Artimedi and Koral Koldobski.
