Swim & Dive Heads to SMU Classic

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will travel to Dallas, Texas, for the SMU Classic Friday, Oct. 7 through Saturday, Oct. 8.

Action is slated to start at 6 p.m. CT Friday and 11 a.m. CT Saturday. The meet can be seen on PonyUp TV and live results will be available on SMUMustangs.com, DiveMeets and the Meet Mobile App.

TOP TIGERS

Eight Tigers have top-15 times in the nation. On the men’s team, fifth-year Jack Dahlgren, senior Ben Patton, and graduate students Clement Secchi and Eric Storms all have posted top-10 times nationally.

• 100 Free: 14th place, 44.26

• 200 Free: 4th place, 1:36.67

• 200 Back: 3rd place, 1:44.87

Ben Patton

• 50 Breast: 10th place, 22.02

• 100 Breast: 10th place, 55.28

• 200 IM: 13th place, 1:50.22

Clement Secchi:

• 50 Fly: 10th place, 22.06

• 100 Fly: 7th place, 46.88

• 200 Fly: 3rd place, 1:44.69

Eric Storms:

• 50 Back: 10th place, 22.02

Daniel Wilson:

• 50 Fly: 13th place, 22.20

Noah Scheuermann:

• 200 Fly: 14th place, 1:49.79

Meredith Rees:

• 200 Back: 12th place, 1:59.20

Ashley Gill:
