Swim and Dive Takes on Mizzou Qualifier

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri Swim and Dive program closes out its home schedule for the 2023-24 season when it hosts the Mizzou Qualifier this weekend, March 2-3. First gun goes off Saturday at 10 a.m., and live results can be found via the Meet Mobile app.

All swimmers are competing this weekend, aiming to improve, or guarantee, their chance at qualifying for the NCAA Championships later this month. The women’s championships take place on March 20 in Athens, Ga., while the men’s championships are on March 27 in Indianapolis, Ind.

LAST TIME OUT

  • While at the SEC Championships, the Tigers entered 14 new times into the record books, including Grant Bochenski’s 100 back time of 44.96 in finals, breaking a school record that stood for five years.
  • The diving duo of Collier Dyer and Kamryn Wong both showed out in Auburn, Ala. Dyer’s score of 397.00 in the platform dive saw him finish in second place, while Wong clinched a bronze medal in the 3-meter with a 348.85.
  • Bochenski (1:41.76) was joined by sophomore’s Sam Brown and Jan Zubik (1:42.09 each) in setting all-time top ten marks in the 200 back.
  • Overall, the Missouri men came in eighth (513 points), while the women’s side finished 11th (332.5)
