Swim and Dive Set for Senior Day Meet

Columbia, Mo. – The University of Missouri swimming and diving program is back in action this weekend to compete in the Tiger Qualifier on Friday, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb. 3. Action begins at 10 a.m. each day at the Mizzou Aquatic Center, and live results can be found on the Meet Mobile app.

Senior day festivities begin at 9:45 a.m. Saturday morning, prior to the final session of the weekend.

The Tiger Qualifier serves as the last meet before the SEC Championships in Auburn, Ala., Feb. 20-24.

HONORING OUR SENIORS

Holley Dennis

  • Her 100 breast time of 1:00.75 currently sits sixth on Mizzou’s top-10 times list
  • Made the NCAA B-cut in the 100 breast during her sophomore campaign at Minnesota
  • Raced in seven events at the 2023 SEC Championships
  • Was a 4-time All-American and 3-time All-State swimmer during her high school career in Colorado

Will Goodwin

  • 3x SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • Currently owns top-10 times in two events: his 200 breast time of 1:52.29 ranks third in program history, while his 200 IM time of 1:45.05 currently sits ninth
  • Has placed as high as sixth in the 200 breast at the SEC Championships, and has tallied top-20 performances in the 100 breast and 200 IM while competing at conference championships
  • Broke the 200 breast pool record at Missouri State during his junior campaign (1:58.31)

Mikolaj Malec

  • 3x SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • Currently owns top-10 times in two events: his 1000 free time of 9:10.25 ranks fifth in program history, while his 500 free standing of 4:23.13 is eighth
  • Owns top 25 finishes at the SEC Championships in the 200 back, 200 fly and 400 IM
  • Broke the 200 back pool record at Missouri State during his sophomore campaign (1:44.41)

Frederik Rindshøj

  • 3x SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • Currently owns top ten times in three events: his 200 free time of 1:34.32 and 200 IM time of 1:44.54 both rank sixth in program history, while his 100 breast standing of 52.48 sits ninth
  • Owns top-25 finishes at the SEC Championships in the 100 breast, 200 IM, 200 breast and the 800 free relay
  • Came to Mizzou as Denmark’s 100 free national champion

Macy Rink

  • Earned personal records in the 500 free and the 1000 free during the 2023 SEC Championships, posting times of 4:49.16 and 10:02.51, respectively
  • Competed in four total events at the SEC Championships in 2023
  • Contributed to an 800 free relay time of 7:04.70 at the 2020 Big Ten Championships as a member of the Iowa Hawkeyes, shattering a school record

Jane Smith

  • 3x SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • Currently owns top-five times in both distance free events: her 1000 free time of 9:54.60 and 1650 free mark of 16:25.69 both rank fifth in program history
  • Has notched top-25 finishes at the SEC Championships in both the 500 free and 1650 free
  • Has earned NCAA nods in the 1650 free, finishing 40th in the event as a freshman

Sierra Smith

  • 3x SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • Currently owns top-10 times in program history in two events: her 100 free pace of 48.70 sits seventh, while her 50 free standing of 22.45 is tied for 10th
  • Claimed First Team All-America honors as part of Missouri’s eighth-place 200 free relay at the NCAA Championships during her sophomore campaign
  • Came to Mizzou with state crowns in the 100 free and 200 free in high school

Daniel Wilson

  • Currently owns top ten times in three events: his marks of 42.87 and 45.98 in the 100 fly are fifth and seventh in program history, respectively, while his 50 free time of 19.57 sits ninth
  • Has claimed NCAA bids in the 100 free and the 100 fly, finishing top 50 in both during his freshman campaign
  • Finished fourth in the 200 free relay at the SEC Championships in 2023 with a 1:16.39; also claimed a top-ten finish at the SEC Championships in the 100 fly as a freshman
  • Entered Mizzou as the Oklahoma state champion in the 100 free, 200 free and 100 fly

Kayla Wilson

  • 2022-23 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • Currently owns a top ten score in the three-meter dive, posting a career-high 332.25
  • Has logged top-25 finishes in all three diving events at the SEC Championships
  • Boasts career highs of 283.40 in the one-meter and 265.20 in the platform dive

TIGER QUALIFIER

  • Mizzou is the only swimming program competing in the Tiger Qualifier, while Kansas and Rockhurst will send divers.
  • There are three total sessions: Friday and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. and an evening session on Friday from 5-6 p.m.
