Swim and Dive Places Seven on Podium in Home Opener

Columbia, Mo. – University of Missouri Swim and Dive earned seven podium finishes in the 2023-24 home opener against Auburn and Indiana Wednesday morning at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.

Logan Ottke Jan Zubik and Collier Dyer each notched second-place results in their respective competitions during the Tigers’ home opener.

Ottke claimed silver in the 100 breast with a time of 54.56. Zubik touched the wall in 1:46.88 in the 200 fly while Dyer totaled 346 points in the 1 meter.

NOTABLE RESULTS

  • Kamryn Wong placed third in the 1 meter with a score of 287.25
  • Kayla Wilson nabbed bronze in the 3-meter as the senior posted a score of 312.00
  • The Tigers men’s 400 free relay team of Daniel Wilson, Grant Bochenski, Darden Tate and Calvin Windle finished third with a time of 2:59.17
  • Grant Bochenski placed third in the 100 free with a time of 43.87

UP NEXT

Missouri welcomes two nationally ranked programs, Auburn and Indiana, to Columbia on Wednesday, Oct. 25. The Tiger’s first home meet of the 2023-24 season begins at 10 a.m. inside the Mizzou Aquatic Center, and live results can be found via the Meet Mobile App.
