Springer and Lundin Earn GCAA All-America Scholar Honors

Graduate student DJ Springer and junior Jack Lundin were honored for their work on and off the course on Wednesday as the pair of Mizzou men’s golfers were named GCAA All-America Scholars.

To be eligible for GCAA All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be at least a sophomore, participate in 50% of his team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2.

In his first season with the Tigers, Springer appeared in 29-of-33 rounds and posted a 73.14 stroke average. Off the course, he maintained a 3.50 grade point average, while working toward his investments graduate certificate.

Lundin ranked second on Mizzou with a 71.18 stroke average, appearing in all 33 rounds as a junior. He also posted a 3.572 grade point average, majoring in business administration.

The Tigers enjoyed a successful 2022-23 campaign where the team earned its second-straight trip to both the NCAA Regionals and SEC Quarterfinals.
