Spirit Wraps Up Season at NAIA Qualifier

Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College spirit team ended their inaugural season of competition today as they both competed in the NAIA Qualifier, with cheer in Oklahoma and dance in Kansas. 

Cheer finished in ninth place with a score of 45.45, their third best score of the season. 

Dance finished in seventh place with a 69.08. 

Both teams competed well in their first seasons, representing Columbia College athletics well. 

Spirit director Danniele Liles expressed how proud she is of the program, “We are incredibly proud of all the hard work put in by our competitive teams this year. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of athletes to take on this first season with!”
