COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Southeastern Conference and the University of Missouri softball team announced the 2024 conference schedule Wednesday. The slate features eight three-game series for the Tigers.

Under the guidance of sixth-year head coach Larissa Anderson, Missouri is slated to play a total of 24 conference games from March 8 through May 5. Out of the eight SEC opponents on Missouri’s schedule, seven made an NCAA Regional appearance in 2023.

The Tigers are set to commence their 2024 SEC campaign at home March 8-10 when they welcome Auburn to Columbia.

Missouri is also scheduled for home matchups against LSU (March 22-24), Florida (April 12-14) and Mississippi State (April 26-28) at the Mizzou Softball Complex.

Missouri is also set to play in four SEC road series during the 2024 season. The Tigers will head to Knoxville, Tennessee, to face the Lady Vols March 15-17, along with road meetings with Arkansas (April 5-7) and Georgia (April 19-21).

Mizzou is scheduled to wrap conference play on the road against South Carolina May 3-5.

The 2024 SEC Tournament is slated for May 7-11 at the Jane B. Moore Field in Auburn, Alabama.

The schedule is subject to change, including the move of some conference series to conclude on Mondays.

Game times and television assignments will be announced at a later date.

Missouri wrapped its 2023 campaign with a 35-26 overall mark after making the program’s 16th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance. The Tigers have registered 35 wins in four of the last five seasons (2020 COVID-19 shortened season was the only time the Tigers didn’t meet the threshold in that span).

Missouri returns 2023 NFCA All-American and Top 25 Finalist for USA Softball Player of the Year center fielder Alex Honnold who represented the USA Softball Women’s National Team (WNT) at the 2023 Japan All-Star Series this past August.

Mizzou also returns starting senior shortstop Jenna Laird who was named to the 2023 All-SEC Second Team with Honnold. In the circle, Mizzou returns senior right hander, Laurin Krings who led the Tigers with 12 wins on a 2.75 ERA.
