Allen, Texas – The No. 6-ranked Columbia College softball team ended their Texas trip with a win over McPherson on Sunday.
The Cougars (3-2) defeated the Bulldogs (1-2), 4-1.

The Scoring:
- B2 (CC) – Karolina Arbova drove in two runs on a double to left center. (CC 2, MC 0)
- B4 (CC) – Karolina Arbova recorded her third RBI of the game with a single. (CC 3, MC 0)
- T6 (MC) – A solo home run got the Bulldogs on the board (CC 3, MC 1)
- B6 (CC) – Abigail Pringer singled home Kylie Kinsler (CC 4, MC 1)
Individual Leaders:
- Kaylie Kaufman, Athena Wheeler, and Karolina Arbova had two hits each.
- Karolina Arbova had three RBIs, while Abigail Pringer drove in one run.
- Alyssa Roll earned her first win of the season after tossing 5.2 innings and allowing just one earned run and three hits. She walked one and struck out nine.
- Ella Schouten went 1.1 with three strikeouts.
Up Next:
The Cougars travel to Chickasha, Okla. next weekend, as they compete in the USAO Invitational. Columbia faces (3) Sciences & Arts on Friday, Feb. 18 at 11:00 AM, followed by a matchup with York at 4:00 PM. The following day, the Cougars square off against (4) Oklahoma City at 10:00 AM and end in the invitational against McPherson at 12:15 PM.
