COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Columbia College softball team posted two wins over Culver-Stockton College (Mo.) this afternoon in a non-conference match up. Columbia took game one, 2-0, and game two, 6-5.
In game one, the Cougars scored two runs off a single from Tasia Green, leading to a Columbia victory.
In the final game of the afternoon, the Cougars were down one run heading into the seventh. Jodi Polly connected on a pitch in walk-off fashion, bringing in two runs to defeat the Wildcats, 6-5.
The Cougars improve to 5-7 on the season.
