COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Columbia College softball team stays alive in the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Tournament after going 1-1 on the first day of action. Columbia took on Cottey (Mo.) for their first game of the day, falling 1-0 and proceeded to secure a when against Health Sciences and Pharmacy (Mo.), 7-1.
The Cougars move to 20-18 on the season.

Columbia returns to action in the AMC Tournament tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. The Cougars will take on the loser of game eight between Central Baptist (Ark.) and William Woods (Mo.).
