Softball Set to Host Black & Gold Banquet Feb. 3 Following Scrimmage

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri Softball program will host its Black & Gold Banquet on Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Walsworth Family Columns Club at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field following its annual scrimmage.

The Black & Gold Banquet will follow the game (12 p.m., CT) at approximately 2:30 p.m., CT.

Fans can meet the 2024 team at the Banquet while enjoying food and non-alcoholic beverages in the Columns Club. Sixth year head coach Larissa Anderson will also provide a season preview before player remarks. 

Attire for the Banquet is Game Day attire. 

Banquet registration is currently available online with admission $30 per person. 

Diamond Club members at the Triple ($1,000) Level or higher will receive an email with a promo code for two free tickets.

Banquet ticket sales conclude on Feb. 1 at 5 p.m., CT. 

Patrons can park in Lot J for the Banquet or MATC, Founders Lot or Lot C for the game and walk over after the conclusion of the scrimmage. 

The Black & Gold Game will commence at 12 p.m., CT at the Devine Pavilion on Saturday, Feb. 3 with warmups slated for 11 a.m. Admission to the game is free. 

Due to new turf at the Devine Pavilion, seeds and gum are not allowed. All drinks must have a lid. 

Bleacher seating will be available down the third baseline. Fans can also bring chairs for outfield sitting. 

LOOKING AHEAD

Missouri will open its 2024 campaign at the NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic Feb. 9-11 in Clearwater, Florida. The Tigers will face Utah, NC State, South Alabama, Liberty, and Clemson over the three-day tournament.
