Softball Places Six on the NFCA All-Region Team

Louisville, Ky. – The Columbia College softball team placed six players on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NAIA All-Region Team.
The Cougars were one of three teams with six or more players on the All-Region list.

All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the two NFCA NAIA All-America squads, which will be announced on June 7.

Mackenzie Kasarda became a three-time NFCA All-Region selection, being named to the first-team all three years (2019, 2021, 2022).

Taylor Barnes was named to the first-team for the second time in her career (2021, 2022), while Avgustina Arbova, Karolina Arbova, Ella Schouten, and Athena Wheeler earned a spot for the first time in their careers.
