Softball Earns Spot in AMC Championship Series

Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College softball team advanced to the Championship Series of the 2022 American Midwest Conference (AMC) Softball Tournament with a 5-0 win over Hannibal-LaGrange.

The Scoring:

• B1 (CC): Emily King hit a sac fly to right field scoring Taylor Barnes.
• B6 (CC): The Cougars scored four times, highlighted by a two-run double from Avgustina Arbova.

 
Inside the Box:

• Avgustina Arbova had two hits and two RBIs in the game.
• Four other CC players had a hit.
• Taylor Barnes, Suzanna Shanks, and Jodi Polly had stolen bases.
• Lexi Dickerson went all seven innings in the circle, allowing six hits and struck out 10.
