Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College softball team recognized its two seniors today before the first game against Williams Baptist University. Bailey Merritt and Abigail Pringer were the two seniors honored. The Cougars were able to hold off the late comeback attempt from the Eagles in game one to earn the 6-5 win, but WBU was able to split the series as they would take game two 8-0.

- Bailey Merritt, Cassidy Avery, and Suzanna Shanks all collected a hit
Columbia will have nearly a week off before they play again, as next Friday, April 21st, they will be the visiting squad against Stephens College at Battle HS. The double header will see games played at 3:00 and 5:00.
