How It Happened

Alabama came out strong to start before Mizzou could get their momentum. The Crimson Tide continued to pressure, but freshman Brianna Buels broke away down the sideline for a cross and goal by senior Jenna Bartles just before the 11th minute. Alabama continued to play physical, but redshirt sophomore Bella Hollenbach made a big save in the 31st minute to keep the score 1-0 at the break.

Coming out of halftime, Alabama continued with their offensive pressure. The Crimson Tide scored their first goal of the game on a corner in the 66th minute. Hollenbach put up a fight in goal to keep the score tied, but the Tide found the back of the net for their second goal in the 85th minute to finish the game. MU could not come back and dropped the match.
